As the mobile space continues to expand, our very own Lee Igel wrote an excellent article about the NFL’s new mobile streaming deal.
“The agreement, which is set to begin next year, will allow streaming of NFL regular season and playoff games to Verizon subscribers’ smartphones. That means live game feeds from NBC, CBS, FOX, ESPN, and NFL Network television broadcasts straight to Apple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones, and the like. This foray into mobile undoubtedly has Verizon’s competitors already champing at the bit to sign-up with the NFL as soon as possible. It’s sure to get advertisers and app designers excited, as well.”
