Spurs, Chelsea and Man City looking forward for more wins

Premier League

Tottenham has had mild matches so far. The “Newcastle game” was virtually won after 18 minutes. The match against Fulham was again an easy one. Harry Kane returned to the scoreboard. Kane had not managed to score for nearly 1,000 minutes, after he scored 52 goals in 59 matches last season. Spurs’ frontman said he is pleased with the team atmosphere and feels confident that Tottenham will win the title this year.

Still, Spurs have not yet played against a big team, in order to measure their strengths with precision. Mauricio Pochettino had praise for Lucas Moura, who also scored his first goal in the Premier League. The Brazilian had a very good evolution, and Pochettino hopes he will become a base player at Spurs. The Italian coach, however, is unhappy with the defensive, where it seems that Spurs still have to work.

With regard to the players dissatisfied with the current conditions (Alderweireld, Mousa Dembele or Danny Rose), Pochettino replied: “Players who do not play need to wait until I’m sacked or go elsewhere to find another solution.”
For Tottenham follows the first true test, the clash at Old Trafford. Spurs will play against a Manchester United team who seems to be in some kind of a rout.

Chelsea passed the test against Arsenal in the North London Derby, but manager Maurizio Sarri is not fully satisfied with the team’s game. The victory against The Gunners came only in the 81st minute through Marcos Alonso’s goal. Eden Hazard’s entry has proven to be essential to the “Blues.” The Belgian is not yet ready to play for 90 minutes, but Sarri hopes that Hazard will be able to start in the first 11 in the match against Newcastle.

Moreover, Sarri is reserved when it comes to Chelsea’s chances in the title fight. The Italian wants the team to enter into a good and sustained rhythm and only then they can think about tackling the title. For Chelsea comes a medium difficulty match against Newcastle, and the Londoners are favourites.

In the end, Manchester City seems to be the favorite team to take the title this year in the Premier League. After defeating Arsenal 2-0 away, City demolished Huddersfield 6-1. Kun Aguero scored a hat-trick and Guardiola is delighted with the Argentinian. “I have never seen him like that,” said the Spaniard, adding: “The spirit since he came back from the holidays after the World Cup … he is in incredible condition.” Man City is expecting a relatively easy away match against Wolverhampton.
